Fall Mountain Game Update 10/14

Brady Being Brady Wears Teal

Brady Boys Soccer uniforms will be a bit different at this Friday’s game at Fall Mountain. Fall Mountain will be playing in memory of Michelle Tanguay (42) former FMGVS player who lost her battle to ovarian cancer approximately three weeks ago.

Michelle Tanguay has resided in the Concord community as a mother/volunteer/fitness instructor/trainer/local soccer coach for the last 15 years. Michelle had many connections to the Bishop Brady community as well as Fall Mountain.

To show our compassion and support for Fall Mountain’s celebration of Michelle’s life, the boys will be wearing teal socks, the color of ovarian cancer.

For more information, go to “Team Michelle” on Facebook.

A Note from Coach Ling

Dear Parents and Players,

I hope you are all able to enjoy the beautiful weather with which we have been blessed
this Labor Day weekend, and that your time spent with family and friends is both relaxing
and refreshing.

The school year is now underway and the upcoming weeks bring about busy schedules
both in the classroom and on the field.  As such, it has come to our attention that there
have been and are some concerns regarding some of the changes in both games
and practice schedules for the program - both Varsity and JV.

Please know that the Mr. Lathrop and the coaching staff are working through some of these
tough issues as we speak and we do understand that your concerns are valid.  The program as a whole
is going through a period of slight transition, but rest assured we are working vigorously to
remedy a few of the obstacles within this process.

For the JV program, this is one of the largest incoming group of boys that we've experienced in recent
years and we are committed to working together to be certain that all of the players have a positive
experience on as many levels as possible.  Having said that, all JV players will travel to Hopkinton for
Tuesday's match after school.  Mr. Lathrop and Mr. Parent will work to see that these JV players receive
their uniforms during lunch on Tuesday.

More information with be forthcoming in the very near future from the Athletic office, but for now
please know that we appreciate your patience during this time of change and growth for our
soccer program.

I am confident we can all work together for both the good of the players and the program,
and believe we will become even more successful as we move forward into the season!

Kindly,
Coach Ling
